We do the type of RA service with a questionnaire. We have one person in charge of getting it to the staff member who most closely fits their reading desires.

Hello All,

If your library offers online RA services, I'm wondering if there is a specific staff member assigned to that work.

Particularly:

Online, on-demand Chat service - who do those requests go to?

Find Your Next Read type of service with a questionnaire completed and submitted - who fulfills that service at your library and is it just part of their daily duties or are there so many submissions that it requires a dedicated staff to fulfill the requests?

Just curious how it all works behind the scenes. I don't work in a library.
