No, we don't have a copy, but this one must be good since it's written by Arthur Miller. Perhaps the patron would recognize the cover of the book?

Hi Ellen,

I found that one in my initial search, but can't tell if it's the right one, because Amazon won't let me see the last page. There are lots of stories about girls and their blankets, I was really surprised at how many!

Do you have access to a copy of the book to see if the blanket ends up as a ball of yarn?

Subject: need to ID picture book of girl with blanket

Hello friends!

I need to identify a picture book, please. My children's librarian doesn't know it. There is a girl with a blanket she carries everywhere, and it grows smaller and smaller until finally it is just a ball of yarn.

The girl who wants it is now 18, and according to her mother she used to borrow it all the time from their library. Now she would like to read it again. I did a brief search online, and there are many many books about girls with blankets. Can any of you help me narrow it down?

Thanks,
