Is "offstage" death OK? I've been told that Carol Higgins Clark's Regan
Reilly series doesn't have any murders *in* it, but bodies are found.

Subject: Looking for Mystery/Detective novels with no death in them
Sent by: Fiction Discussion List

I hope the collective knowledge on this list can help me. My searches
haven?t been too successful. One of my patrons wants mystery/detective
novels with no death in them. She also needs large print. That criteria
eliminates probably 98% of the books we own. Of course I can interlibrary
loan titles. I just need to know what authors & titles to request.
I have found a few: Alexander McCall Smith, The ?Secrets of Mary?s
Bookshop Series? and the Susan Wittig Albert Beatix Potter series. Someone
else suggested the Miss Julia novels by Ann B. Ross, even though they
aren?t quite mysteries, she does figure out things.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Val Stark
