Hi all,

A patron is looking for a book with a fairly unique premise, but all of my search strategies have come up dry.

Here's the provided details:

I believe it was originally in French and the English translation came out in the early 2000s. The author may be Middle Eastern/French from Tunis or Algeria. The subject matter was phony Middle Eastern wars staged by Western corporate arms manufacturers to test new weapons and display these weapons to the purchasing agents of different countries.

I'm hoping someone will recognize the book. Thanks for any help!
