A patron is trying to remember the name of a book she read in or around 2013. Her description: "it was about a girl who was kidnapped as a child and grew up in her captor's home, which was next door to the home of an artist. The girl also learned to paint and painted many pictures that turned out to be self-portraits, although that may not be revealed until the end." She believes that the book may have been told from more than one perspective. The book is not Emma Donoghue’s “Room.” I’ve been trying to figure this one out since May with no luck.

Thank you!
