Hey there, 

I was talking to my daughter about Stephenie Meyer's Host recently and we were wondering if there were more books where the alien is the protagonist. So I asked my bestfriend Google and I got this list...

Except... I don't recognize any of the books on this list! Does anyone recognize any of them and/or have a title to recommend?

While we are at it... I also was talking to her about a short story that I remember reading in junior high about aliens coming to earth and they are looking down at the earth from their space ship. They start talking about how they believe cars are the dominant life form and humans are the food or something. I know I didn't make it up because my husband remembers reading it in school too, but I couldn't figure it out ever WITH Google's help! 

Any ideas?
