I was so saddened to learn of Lois Duncan's death. She came to my
attention when I was in Library School when she won the Margaret A.
Edwards Award that year. I had a YA class that summer and spent all
summer devouring almost all of her books, including "Don't Look
Behind You." I like true crime stories so I also read her nonfiction
book about her daugher, "Who Killed My Daughter," which chillingly had
a lot of the same details as her novel.
