I remember watching "The Virginian" in syndication on TV. (I later found out it was inspired by a novel by Owen Wister) The series ran from 1962-71 and is available on DVD. A few of the original "Virginian" cast is alive today.
Unlike other popular westerns on TV at the time, "The Virginian" had feature length episodes, the first series to do so.

Finally, have a Happy Thanksgiving! Safe and smooth travels wherever you're headed.
