I have a patron who is trying to remember the name of a picture book where the child is given a box to "keep" toys and a box to "donate" toys, but he doesn't want to get rid of anything. She remembered reading it as a child in the 1970s.

My brain only goes back to Berenstain Bears and Little Critter room cleaning, but that's only the early 80s and not far enough. Any assistance would be welcome! She said it was not a popular character book and she had it in hardcover.
